Well it could be coming right through your backyard. The new highway will link Canada and Mexico through the states of Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Although part of the highway is already underway up north, studies to determine the environmental impact of the road will continue over the next year.
The City of Buckeye, where the interstate is projected to come through, is already preparing to see both commercial and residential growth. The interstate will connect Wickenburg with Casa Grande, then continue south to connect with Interstate 19 or Arizona 189 in Nogales to access Mexico.
Interested parties are hoping to see the first phase of the project complete in early 2018, which will be a new 4 lane highway. This will create a smoother, quicker drive for Phoenicians to get to Las Vegas. It looks like there is no end in site for growth in the Valley. More info on this project visit: http://i11study.com
