PSA: Sedona needs your love friends!!! We’ve decided to remain closed until we’ve given 200 hours of community service in helping clean up Oak Creek and Wet Beaver Creek. The #socialdistancing crowds have trashed Sedona in the last two months and it’s actually now becoming dangerous for our community. Diapers, tampons, condoms, toilet paper, broken glass, and rotting food all within 25 feet of the creek.
On this pickup we found the following:
-100+ beer bottles
-70+ beer cans
-9 mini shots
-2 used condoms
-25+ used diapers within 25ft of Oak Creek
-7 pairs of underwear
-4 sandals
-2 sunglasses
-5 hats
-4 doggie bags
-1 folding chair
-10 pairs of socks
-100+ pieces of toilet paper within 15ft of Oak Creek
-6 big gulps
-12 grocery bags
-3 ziplock bags
-1 pizza box
-11 watermelon rinds
-30 Capri Sun straws
-1 Family size unfinished Chipotle order with rotting food within 10ft of Oak Creek
-200+ pieces of shiny sequence floating in Oak Creek
PLEASE, stand up for Sedona this Memorial Weekend, Leave No Trace, and bring a trash bag with you to the water
